ThermalWood Canada has the exclusive rights to manufacture state-of-the-art ClipJuAn clips to create an easy, DIY installation of your hardwood decking and cladding. The clips are made of POM (polyoxymethylene), which is one of the highest performing plastic on the market, the same to manufacture soles of ski boots.
- Save up 30% on your installation time!
- Invisible results: no need to drill through your wood, meaning no splinters!
- Pre-set spaces between clips means perfect installation every time!
These deck boards come with machined tracks on the underside to allow for the use of the Snap-To-It clips (sold separately here). These clips make installation a breeze. No pre drilling required. Just screw down the clips onto the deck joists and snap the boards in place.
For areas where it is against the law to use pressure treated wood, our lumber is only heated and steamed in the manufacturing process, which means our products are ideal for a beautiful long-lasting deck anywhere in any conditions!
Due to the wood being thermally modified, the wood is much more insect resistant and stable, as well as resistant to rot and decay. If left untreated without UV protection, thermally modified wood will grey over time without affecting the stability or resistance to decay.
If you wish to maintain the dark, rich brown colour, we recommend using a coloured oil based stain, which will need to be re-applied periodically (at least once per year). This can also be applied in house prior to shipping.
Our decking comes with a 25 year warranty against rot and decay. To view PDF document, Click Here!
We carry a 4/4 decking and a 5/4 decking. Both are 4-3/4″ wide, and lengths vary from 80″ – 144″ long, cut at 16″ intervals. Periodically, we also longer lengths available.

Uses: Great product for all decking needs, including all marine applications. Its improved weather resistance and improved dimensional stability make heat treated wood a great product for marine applications or other decking needs close to water, such as pools and waterfront, beachfront or any other property that has humidity issues.
